Seminci / Las Palmas

The Valladolid International Film Festival (SEMINCI – Semana Internacional de Cine de Valladolid) has been held annually since 1956. As the second-oldest film festival in Spain, it has established itself as one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to independent and auteur cinema. Known for its strong commitment to arthouse film, the festival aims to discover and promote works that contribute to the appreciation and dissemination of world cinema. Over the years, SEMINCI has hosted the Spanish premieres of films by both master filmmakers and major contemporary voices in cinema.
