Gaia MEUCCI-ASTLEY

 Italian-born and Bristol-based, Gaia is a freelance script consultant and assessor specialising in talent development initiatives. She works with leading organisations across the screen industries as well as providing one-to-one mentoring to writers developing short and feature film projects, with a particular emphasis on first features and emerging talent.  Her present and past collaborators include Screen Ireland, BFI Network, TorinoFilmLab, LIM (Less is More), Ffilm Cymru Wales and Cinéma de Demain, through which she regularly mentors scripts in development in the lead-up to the Festival de Cannes. Previously, she served as Short Film Programmer at Encounters Festival in Bristol for ten years.
