Ioanna Bolomyti started working in the film industry in 2006 and in 2021 she founded the production company Atalante SA. Her filmography includes feature and short films, with a focus in new talents, as Thanasis Neofotistos’ Airhostess-737 (Locarno IFF 2022, Toronto IFF 2022, Sundance IFF 2023), Asimina Proedrou’s Behind the Haystacks (Palm Springs IFF 2024, Greek Entry to the 2024 Academy Awards, 10 Hellenic Film Academy awards, 6 awards in Thessaloniki IFF 2022, Best Debut Award in Goa IFF 2022), Sonia Liza Kenterman’s Tailor (Tallinn Black Nights IFF 2020, nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film at the Japanese Film Academy Awards) and also established directors as Zacharias Mavroeidis’ The Summer with Carmen, (premiere in Venice IFF (Giornate deli Autori), AFI Fest). Ioanna is a Producers on the Move 2022 and EAVE Producers Workshop 2018 alumna, has been awarded with a scholarship for EAVE Marketing Workshop 2024 and is currently attending ACE Producers Workshop 2025-2026. She is a member of the Greek Producers’ Association, the European Film Academy and member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Film Academy.
