Locarno Film Festival - Open Doors

Since 2003, Open Doors has supported filmmakers from regions where independent cinema faces particular challenges, fostering collaboration across borders and continents. Through its public and professional programs, it offers talents support throughout their creative journey and encourages dialogue and reinvention in cinema. Its goal is a stronger, more sustainable, borderless film community. Between 2025-2028 the program is focusing on 42 countries from the African continent, featuring Projects, Producers, Directors, and Screenings.
