ADRIAN SITARU

Adrian Sitaru was born in Romania. He graduated in film directing from the Media University in Bucharest. He directed several short films and TV films before he made “Waves” (2007) which won the Golden Leopard at the Locarno Film festival, as well as the prize for Best Short at the Sarajevo Film Festival. The film was selected in the Official Competition in Sundance 2008. Adrian is currently in post-production with his first feature film, an independent production, which title is to be determined. “For Love with Best Intentions” will be Sitaru’s second feature film, a story inspired by a personal experience of a mother who gets sick.
