Alejandro LANDES

“Alejandro Landes was born in 1980 in Sao Paulo, Brazil to an Ecuadorean
father and Colombian mother. Alejandro studied economics and political
science at Brown University, and later went on to work for a US newspaper
and television show. In 2005, he worked as a writer for a Los Angeles
production company before heading out on his own to direct the feature
documentary film COCALERO – premiering at Sundance in 2007 and later
screening in competition at more than 40 international festivals.
Alejandro is currently working on a narrative project about a Colombian man
in a wheelchair who tires of waiting, and takes his teenage son along to
make a rather explosive complaint.”
