Alexis DOS SANTOS

“Alexis dos Santos was born in Buenos Aires and grew up in Patagonia. He studied Architecture, Acting and attended Film School in Buenos Aires. He took part on some underground theatre plays and performances as an actor and worked as a writer director of short pieces for an experimental TV program.
He moved to Barcelona for a scriptwriting course. While there he wrote and directed together with Natasha Braier the short film METEORITOS.
He studied Fiction Direction at the UK’s National Film & Television School. While in London he wrote and directed four short films: WATCHING PLANES, AXOLOTL, SNAPSHOTS and SAND awarded in Bologna Film Festival and Brest Film Festival.
His first feature film GLUE -historia adolescente en medio de la nada- was selected at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (Young Jury Award…) and at BAFICI 2006 (Best Film, Audience Award…) He’s currently working together with Film Four Lab for his next film UNMADE BEDS that will be shot in London produced by The Bureau Film Company.”
