Antonio CAMPOS

Antonio Campos was born in 1983 in New York City where he has lived all his life. At the age of 13, he attended the New York Film Academy where he made his first short film “Puberty.” Since then, he has made numerous short films, receiving awards and honors for many of them, including the Presidential Scholar in the Arts title for his short “First Kiss.” At 18, he began his undergraduate studies in film at Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. There, he and his friends began their own production company, BorderLine Films. His latest short “Buy It Now” won First Prize in the Cinefondation at Cannes in 2005, and the longer version of the film won the Audience Awawrd at CineVegas the same year. Most recently, Antonio was named #6 on the Top 25 Filmmakers to Watch list in Filmmaker Magazine. He is currently completing his first feature script, AFTERSCHOOL.
