Carlo SIRONI

Carlo Sironi was born in Rome in 1983. At the age of 18 he began to work on film sets as an assistant director. Sofia, his first short film as director, competed at the Torino Film Festival and in many other international festivals. Cargo competed at the Venice Film Festival and nominated as Best Italian short film at David di Donatello Award in 2013. He was an alumnus of Berlinale Talent Campus in 2013. Valparaiso competed in the Festival del film Locarno in the Pardi di Domani section and won the Film Fund Video Untertitelung prize. While at the Residence, he will work on the script of his first feature, Sole, already selected for the Script Station of the Berlinale Talents and for the Eave Training Producers Network, the project is supported by Mibact, CNC-Mibact and IDM Sud Tyrol developments funds.
