Céline MACHEREL

“Céline MACHEREL : Swiss (born in 1971). Céline Macherel graduated in film from Lausanne’s Ecole Cantonale d’Art, then went on to study CGI at the Ecole Nationale des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. She has directed documentaries and fiction shorts, including Un oiseau dans le plafond (2001, 15′) that won a prize at the Festival of Turin. She is currently working on a feature project called Une place au soleil.
Post Residence: Céline received development funding from the CNC for the script which she developed at the Residence, Une place au soleil. Philippe Avril (Unlimited) is to coproduce the film whose shoot is slated for summer 2007. She is currently working on a short film project, Jeu de loi.”
