Eduardo VALENTE

Eduardo VALENTE : graduated from film school in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and his graduation short (UM SOL ALARANJADO/ DAUGHTER AND FATHER/ QUATRE JOURS) received a number of awards in film festivals both in Brazil and internationally, including the First Cinéfondation Prize at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival. His second short, CASTANHO/SENTIMENTAL was also shown in Cannes, at the Director’s Fortnight. He has just shot his third short, O MONSTRO/ THE MONSTER. Eduardo also works as a film critic and in the organization of film festivals. He is developing his first feature film project, VÓRTICE/EYE OF THE STORM.
