Gábor REISZ

Gábor Reisz was born on January 19th, 1980, in Budapest, Hungary. After graduating from the Hungarian University of P.E he went to Eötvös Lóránd University to study Film Theory and Film History in 2003. He completed his study at the University of Theatre and Film Arts Budapest, as a film and television director in 2006. He wrote and directed several short films while in school. In 2014, he graduated with his first feature ‘For some inexplicable reason’. The film premiered at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the East of the West competition. Since, The film has been awarded in several international film festivals (Torino Critics award and Audience prize, Cinefest – Adolph Zukor prize). Gábor is developing his second feature film.
