Hee-Jung KIM

“KIM Hee-Jung. Born in Seoul, Korea. She studied playwriting at the Seoul Institute of the Arts. She has studied film directing at the Polish National Film School in Lodz. She has made several short films: Portrait of Father, 1999 (which was presented at the Premiers Plans Festival d’Angers and the Munich Film Festival)
The Appointment, 2000(which was also presented at several festivals: Clermont-Ferrand; Edinburgh Festival; and which won the Gold Plaque in Chicago and the Grand Prix at the Krakow Student Film Festival) Once…Someday, 2001(presented in Pusan, Kiev and Dahlonega) She is currently developing her first feature film project Soo-Ah, Thirteen Years Old, a story about girl who believes her real mother is a famous singer in Korea.”
