Hernán Pablo BELON

“Hernán BELÓN : was born in 1970 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has studied at ENERC, School of the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts. Since 1998 he has studied acting and directing at the Augusto Fernandes School of Theatre.
He has worked professionally as film editor, assistant director and producer. He has also worked as teacher at the University of Cinema and at ENERC.
He has directed various short films and documentaries. In 1997 he wrote and directed “”ALUAP”” (35 mm.), short-film awarded a prize by INCAA (National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts) and selected for the official competition in several festivals. It won the Prix de la Jeunesse in Clermont-Ferrand, France, Best Short-film Arcipielago in Rome, Italy and Third prize in Viña del mar, Chile.
In 2004 he directed a TV film called Fish & pay, a comedy about the crisis of 2001 in Argentina. Its screenplay was awarded a prize by INCAA.
Now he is working on the screenplay of his first feature film called “”Saturn is back””.”
