Jens JONSSON

“Jens JONSSON. Swedish, born in 1974, and residing in Stockholm, Jens Jonsson is a graduate of the Drama Institute of Stockholm, specialising in direction (2001). During his final year of studies, he makes two shorts: Brother of Mine and Reparation, for which he receives Second Prize of the Cinéfondation at the Festival de Cannes (Cannes Film Festival) in 2001. Previously, he made in 2000 a short, The Execution, a commercial for a telecommunications company, as well as a music video for the Swedish group Strykmset.
Post Residence: His project developed at the Residence, Ping-Pong Kingen, is in pre-production. He is equally working on a new feature screenplay, Follow, Follow, Lead. A retrospective of this films was held at the 2006 Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival.”
