John SHANK

“John SHANK : American, born in 1977 in midwestern USA, John Shank has been living since childhood in Belgium. In 2000, he graduated from the Institut des Arts de Diffusion in Belgium. He’s directed one short film, Farewell to the Crying Calf, presented at the Cinéfondation in Cannes (2001) and numerous other festivals.
Post Residence: After having finished the shoot of two other shorts, which make up a trilogy with Un veau pleurait la nuit, John is currently winding up post-production of part three. He has completed the shoot of his project developed at the Residence, Le cri insuffisant.”
