Jordan Schiele

Jordan Schiele was born in Brooklyn, NY and resides in Beijing. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in legal studies and Mandarin Chinese, he graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts Asia in Singapore. His short films “Canvas” and “Prank” were finalists for the first and second Louis Vuitton Journeys Awards, and received a Special Jury Mention. “Ten Years From Now” was awarded a Grand Jury Prize at the First Run Film Festival followed by its premiere at Vancouver International Film Festival. His work as a cinematographer has premiered at Cannes, Tribeca, Curtacinema and others. His scripts have been featured in masterclass workshops with Oliver Stone and Todd Solondz. At the Residence, he is developing his feature film “Dog Days,” a thriller set in China, which is in competition for the Academy’s Nicholl Fellowship.
