Jukka-Pekka VALKEAPÄÄ

“Jukka-Pekka VALKEAPÄÄ : Finnish, was born in Porvoo in 1977. He studied film directing at the University of Art and Design of Helsinki. During his studies, he directed two short films: Eyes Closed No Hands and The Fall. Both films were screened at several major festivals. The Fall won the 2nd Prize at the 2003 NYU Tisch School of the Arts International Student Film Festival. Valkeapää has directed commercials, and also works in the field of graphic design and illustration. He is now writing his first feature film The Visitor.
Post Residence: Jukka-Pekka has completed the writing of his feature film script, developed at the Residence, The Visitor, which has been selected for Cinemart 2006. The shoot is slated for August 2006, in coproduction with Blue Light.”
