“Kornél MUNDRUCZÓ : Hungarian (born in 1975). Kornel Mundruczo graduated from the Hungarian University of Film and Drama as actor and director. He has made several short films, including Afta in 2001, and Joan of Arc of the Night Bus in 2003, selected for the Director’s Fortnight. His first feature film, Pleasant Days, won the Silver Leopard in Locarno in 2002. He is currently working on his second feature project, Delta: the story of Michael, a self-confident young man, used to the security of a perfect world, who enters the wild and maze-like landscape of the Delta….
Post Residence: Kornel has just begun (March 2006) the shoot of his project developed at the Residence, Delta, in coproduction with The Co-production Office. Previously, he directed Johanna, presented at “”Un Certain Regard”” at the 2005 Festival de Cannes (Cannes Film Festival).”
