Maung SUN

Maung Sun is a Myanmar based Arkanese-Burmese animator/filmmaker. He graduated from Yangon University of Foreign Languages, majoring in Japanese in 2005. He co-founded Electronic Pictures production in Myanmar in 2012. His first feature length script as a co-writer Money Has Four Legs won the Main Jury Award for 2016 Myanmar Script Fund. He attended FAMU Filmmaking Summer initiation program in 2017. His debut feature film Money Has Four Legs was premiered in 2020 Busan International Film Festival, New Currents section. He is currently developing a feature script for his next project, Future Laobans.
