Natacha Feola. USA. Born in Minnesota, raised in Kentucky, she is Argentinean-Chilean. Natacha received her BFA in sculpture and painting from the University of Kentucky and attended the MFA film production program at New York University, where she earned a fellowship, and was a National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts Scholarship recipient. Her short film, Payday, premiered at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival before going on to screen at several other festivals. Natacha won the Craft Award for Editing at the 2004 First Run Film Festival. She interned with directors Peter Bogdanovich and Spike Lee before returning to her home state to write, receiving grants to do so from the Kentucky Council for the Arts and the Kentucky Foundation for Women. In 2006 she was selected for participation in the Berlinale Talent Campus, then as an associate artist to Christine Vachon at the Atlantic Center for the Arts master artist-in-residency program. While at the Cannes Festival Residence Natacha will develop her first feature film project “Speedy”, the unauthorized biography of a corpse.
