“Newton ADUAKA : Nigerian, born in 1966, Newton Aduaka graduated form the London International Film School. Newton ADUAKA currently resides in London. He’s directed several short films. His last short, On the Edge, won three awards and screened at numerous festivals. His first feature film, Rage, also won him three awards including the Prix Oumarou Ganda at FESPACO 2001. His second feature film project is entitled Green-Orange.
Post Residence: Newton is working on a brand-new feature project, Waiting for an Angel for which he has obtained the Fonds Sud, Fonds Image d’Afrique, World Cinema Fund and ACP Fonds. Pre-production is slated for November 2006.”
