Pablo AGUERO

Pablo Agüero was born in 1977; He grew up in El Bolsón a cosmopolitan village of Argentinian Patagonia. His first short film, directed at age 15, won first prize at the Biennial Patagonic Art. Thanks to a scholarship he received after his second short film, he began his film studies. His film ‘Lejos del Sol’ won best short film at the Buenos Aires International Film Festival (Bafici) and the Cork Film Festival in 2005. He is currently working on his first feature film ‘Supervivencia’, which has received the support from the Amiens Film Festival. Pablo has also been chosen to participate at the screenwriter laboratories in Madrid (Casa de América) and Biarritz Film Festival. ‘Primera Nieve’, an adaptation of a scene from his feature film project, which received support from the CNC (Centre National du Cinéma) is currently in post-production.
