“Peter SOLLETT : American, born in 1976, Peter Sollett graduated from New York University. He directed Five Feet High and Rising, 1998 (First prize Cinéfondation 2000).
Post Residence: Raising Victor Vargas (Long Way Home), a feature film project developed at the Residence, was screened in “”Un Certain Regard””, at the 2002 Festival de Cannes (Cannes Film Festival). Theatrically released in March 2003 in the United States, the film has had a very good career. Grand Prix at the Deauville Festival, it was warmly welcomed by the press and audiences upon its release in France (distributed by Mars Films). Peter is currently working on a new feature film project, The Goodside Story, to be produced by Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher.”
