Santiago PALAVECINO

“Santiago PALAVECINO. Argentinean, born in 1974 in Chacabuco. In addition to film, he has also studied performance and music, and received a diploma from the Faculty of Literature and Philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires. He has worked as a screenplay writer (winning several awards), translator, researcher and teacher. He has written articles on film for prestigious Argentinean and international publications. He has made video shorts. His first feature, Otra vuelta, was screened at several festivals (San Sebastian, Toulouse, Buenos Aires and Montreal, to name a few) before being released and warmly received in Argentina. He is currently working on the screenplay of his second feature, Tarde.
Post Residence: Santiago Palavecino will take part in the 2006 Atelier du Festival (Festival Workshop), and the shoot of his film is slated for September 2006.”
