Sharon ANGELHART

Born in Jerusalem, Israel, in 1987, Sharon Angelhart is a film director and writer based in Tel Aviv. Sharon graduated from the Sam Spiegel Film & Television School. Her diploma film, Night Swimming, was screened in both Israeli and international film festivals. Sharon works as a casting director and archival researcher and is currently developing her first full-length feature film, titled Coz You’re Ugly. The screenplay is supported by the “Israeli Film Fund” and the Gesher Multicultural film Fund. Coz You’re Ugly tells the story of Avigail, an 18-year-old army absentee, who returns to her rural hometown to discover that everything changed while she was gone, and that she is the only one capable of fixing it.
