Tommaso USBERTI

Tommaso Usberti was born in Florence. He lived between Tuscany and Lombardy until he was 23 years old. At the end of high school he directed self-taught short films while studying literature at university. In 2013, he joined the Femis in production. His graduation film, Deux égarés sont morts, won 3rd prize at the Cinefondation (Cannes Festival 2017). He is currently developing a short film project, A Violent Ragazzo, and a feature film, Les jours plus intenses de Guido Kalb. Both situated in Italy, the first in Tuscany, the second in Lombardy; they speak of foreigner integration, oppression of the weakest and animal abuse, with a tone between tale and realism.
