“Veronica CHEN : Argentinian (born in 1969). Veronica Chen studied classical literature at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). She graduated as director from the Centro de Experimentacion y réalización Cinematográfica (CERC). She has worked in the film industry since 1995, in over 15 films, and edited two films by Daniel Burman. In 2001, she directed her first feature film, Vagón Fumador, presented both at the International Critics’ Week and the Mostra di Venezia, and won the Carabela de Plata for Best First Work at Huelva. Her second feature project, called Argentine Waters, is the story of a 34-year-old swimmer journeying back from the desert back to the sea.
Post Residence: Veronica has completed the shoot of her film developed at the Residence, Argentine Waters, coproduced by Archipel 33. She is currently winding up post-production.”
