Zhou HAO

Zhou HAO was born in 1992 in Chongqing, China. He directed, produced and played the main part in his micro-budget debut feature The Night, which premiered in 2014 in Berlin Panorama, a “standout debut (…) whose rough intimacy and confident sense of style is reminiscent of Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Jean Genet or Wong Kar Wai” (Variety). The Night has subsequently been screened at several film festivals and won three Grand Prix, at the Nara, Nanjing (China Independent Film Festival) and Geneva. Zhou Hao is currently developing his second feature film Riddles.
