Manuel, doctor of a small village, dies. NELLY, his wife, nurse, his two children, Pedro and Jeanne, their friend Etienne, find themselves in front of the abrupt tragedy. After the death of Manuel, all the family of the deceased, his brother José, a carpenter, and his sister Mathilde, who lives far from the village, decide to get closer to Nelly and her children. José, with the help of his partner Serge, decides to make his brother’s coffin. This common painful situation becomes really original when Nelly refuses that the undertaker’s take the body of her husband.
