For nearly 50 years now, the Festival’s initiatives to support the cinema of the future have brought a great many worldwide talents to light. Spending time at Cannes is a springboard for directors, helping them go on to be selected for (and often winning) the world’s biggest festivals. The Festival is ever attentive to how they evolve, and is delighted and proud to be supporting careers that go international, helping breathe new life into the world film scene in the process.
