The Creative Programs highlight free, unapologetic and audacious short film projects during the SFC | Rendez-vous Industry. By boosting projects towards their completion, the Creative Programs present and support short films in post-production stage, as well as short and first feature films in development.
The Focus SCRIPT is a selection of projects in development by recent graduates of collaborating Visual Arts & Film Schools, presented to key players of the short film Industry – producers, buyers, film funds, institutions, distributors and programmers – during a pitch session. The initiative allows filmmakers to benefit from script-mentoring, distribution strategy and promote their project before its finalization.
The Focus WiP is a selection of promising short films in production or post-production presented to key players of the short film Industry – distributors, programmers, institutions, film funds, producers and buyers – during a pitch session. The initiative allows filmmakers to benefit from a mentoring session in accordance with the project’s needs and promote it before its finalization.
The Focus COPRO’ is a selection of feature debut projects in their earliest stages. The initiative aims to jumpstart the development of these films with an intensive program of mentoring sessions and an intimate networking event.
