Focus SCRIPT 2026: three projects selected by MIDPOINT Institute, ShorTO Film Market et Festival Music & Cinema Marseille!

The Focus SCRIPT creates bonds between Visual Arts & Film Schools, Producers and various Industry decision-makers during the SFC | Rendez-vous Industry. The initiative seeks innovative young talents and supports them in the first steps of their debut short film.

The recent graduates benefit from a dedicated space where they can get targeted feedback & individual guidance on their scripts at an early stage of work.

This year, three institutions collaborate as part of the initiative and have chosen projects that will receive dedicated support.

Congratulations to Sélin Van Laethem with her project PUSSY STREET!

Thanks to a collaboration developed with MIDPOINT Institute, the project is included as part of MIDPOINT Shorts, a year-long program dedicated to short fiction films in development.
Sélin Van Laethem will benefit from personalized support to facilitate the completion of her upcoming short film.

Congratulations to Matthias Joulaud with his project LE DERNIER AFFÛT (THE LAST HIDE)!

Thanks to a collaboration with the Italian Short Film Center within the framework of the ShorTO Film Market, one project of the Focus SCRIPT will take part in “You Only Pitch Twice”.
The director will be invited to participate in the industry event in November 2026 in Turin.

Congratulations to Inès Dahmani with her project CEUX QUI DÉRANGENT (THOSE WHO DISTURB)!
