The well-known American producer Barry Detweiler is determined to find out by all means the whereabouts of the legendary Hollywood film star Fedora, since he wants to bring the apparently ageless actress back to the screen. His search takes him to a Greek island where Fedora is living with Countess Sobryanski, Dr. Vando and her nurse, who are all too eager to protect her from outsiders.
