Rainer, 21, together with his father, Georg, 43, goes on vacation in the Austrian Alps. The loneliness of the mountain landscape triggers an old smouldering conflict between the two. Rainer uses an incident on the glacier to give the impression of a fatal accident. His father is left thinking he is responsible. Rainer frees himself out of the crevasse and uses his disappearance to take revenge on his father.
