2085. There is no longer any electricity or machinery on Earth. The planet is a vast desert. For the last survivors who have the strength to hear it, a mysterious “Call” announces: go to Athens. On Europe’s abandoned roads, 17-year-old Kal takes an enigmatic treasure with him: film reels, all with the inscription “Cinecita di Bologna”. In the basement of the film library, he meets Shakespeare, an old man with a wild look. The screening of old film fragments revives the older man’s will to live, and reveals the flavour of special moments to the younger. Kal convinces his companion to follow him to Greece.
