This is the story of two divers. It begins in the late fifties when even as boys, Jacques Mayol and Enzo Molinari, would vie to set a deep-sea diving records. Twenty years later, they are both front runners for the championship. The portrait of two men bound to the sea and the love between Jacques and his earth woman, Johanna. The Big Blue, a tale of friendship and romance.
