The siblings Johanne and Jonas have always been very attached to each other due to Jonas’ disability. One late night they miss the last ferry off a small island and are forced to spend New Year’s Eve with strangers. In the course of the evening their safe and secluded life is torn apart and the presence of strangers puts the siblings’ relationship into perspective.
