Won the Kraft Award (1955), Marco Denevi’s novel takes you to the amazing world of Camilo Canegato, a dark, shy painter who invents a passionate romance with a non existent woman but then coming to life, changing his life forever. Soffici’s film had the most prestigious national awards and was the Argentinean film at the Cannes Film Festival in 1958.
