À Mumbai, le quotidien de Prabha est perturbé lorsqu’elle reçoit un cadeau inattendu de son mari parti vivre à l’étranger. Sa jeune colocataire, Anu, essaie en vain de trouver un endroit dans la ville pour faire l’amour avec son petit ami. Un voyage dans un village côtier offre aux deux femmes un espace où leurs désirs peuvent enfin se manifester.
