Jesús vit avec son père au bord d’un grand lac. Son frère aîné José est revenu à la maison traînant derrière lui un passé de criminel. Ce matin, Jesús l’accompagne pour chercher un travail qui l’aiderait à rétablir sa réputation. Après ce jour, Jesús ne verra plus son environnement amphibie du même œil.
