Un célèbre acteur, Julio Arenas, disparaît pendant le tournage d’un film. On ne retrouve pas son corps, et la police conclut qu’il a eu un accident et qu’il est tombé à la mer. Plusieurs années plus tard, le mystère reprend de l’actualité grâce à un programme de télévision qui passe les dernières scènes qu’a tourné l’acteur, dirigées par son meilleur ami, le réalisateur Miguel Garay.
