The CNC rewards two La Résidence directors

On Thursday, May 16, 2019, the directors from La Résidence du Festival – fall 2018 and spring 2019 sessions – presented their projects at the Gray d’Albion Beach.

The “Centre National du Cinéma et de l’Image animée” hosted the Cinéfondation and the 12 directors from the two La Résidence* sessions at the Gray d’Albion Beach in Cannes. Each filmmaker presented their project to invited professionals  and a jury composed of Julie Bertuccelli, Sylvie Pialat, Rajendra Roy and Marcela Said.

After deliberation, the jury awarded Elena Lopéz Riera and Vinko Tomicicic. Both receive development support from the CNC for their projects. In addition, a special mention was given to Carla Simón and Aboozar Amini.
