125 RUE MONTMARTRE
Pascal, a newspaper seller in Paris, saves Didier’s life from drowning, as the stranger attempts to commit suicide by throwing himself in the Seine. Pascal, feeling compassionate for the desperate Didier, seemingly lost and penniless, decides to help him to get back on his feet. A friendship begins between the two men and Didier, at the head of a big heritage, confesses to Pascal that his wife Catherine is trying to institutionalize him in order to steal his belongings. While Pascal helps Didier retrieve a large sum of money, he finds himself victim of a conspiracy, falsely accused of a crime.
