An Armenian family – refugees from Azerbaijan – lives in a dormitory in a Moscow suburb. The grandparents argue about the fig tree left in their garden in Baku. They count the varieties of sugar they used to buy in Baku, refuse to unpack their trunks and wait… The film was shot in a real dormitory. Most of the characters are real refugees.
