IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE
In 1962 Hong Kong, an editor-in-chief named Chow Mo-Wan (Tony Leung) moves into a new apartment with his wife, who he sees very little of as she if often busy with urgent business. The same day, secretary Su Li-Zhen (Maggie Cheung) moves in next door with her exporter husband, who travels regularly for business. The two couples have no real relationship – except for bumping into each other on the stairway when they go out shopping. Their shared loneliness and clear similarities bring Su Li-Zhen and Chow Mo-Wan closer together, until one day they suddenly learn that their spouses are having an affair together…
