Antoine Doinel is a 12 years old lonely child. Unloved by his parents, persecuted by his teacher, he spends his time with his friend René truanting school in the streets of Paris. One day, he is accused of plagiatism and expelled of the school. Then, he starts to steal to gain money and realize his dream: going to to the seaside.
