Nicoletta Braschi made her stage debut in 1980. She acted in the films of Roberto Benigni: You Upset Me, The Little Devil, Johnny Stecchino, The Monster, Life Is Beautiful, Pinocchio, The Tiger and the Snow. Other renowned filmmakers asked her to work with them: Giuseppe Bertolucci (Secrets Secrets and Especially on Sunday), Jim Jarmusch (Down by Law and Mystery Train), Marco Ferreri (How Good the Whites Are), Roberto Faenza (According to Pereira), Marco Tullio Giordana (Who Killed Pasolini?), Paolo Virzì (Ovosodo), Francesca Comencini (I Love to Work). Since 2004 she has appeared on stage in A Midsummer Night’s Dream conducted by Claudio Abbado, The Grönholm Method by Jordi Galcerán (directed by Cristina Pezzoli), Betrayal by Harold Pinter (by Andrea Renzi) and Interno 3 (by Francesco Saponaro).
