Forum dedicated to short film professionals, the SFC | Rendez-vous Industry fosters links between creation and industry. In 2025, it will take place from May 18th to 21st. During these four days, as in previous years, the SFC | Rendez-vous Industry will focus on bold initiatives to promote the short film and its actors.

Once the registration done, all the films are reviewed and a decision is made regarding its participation, in accordance with the expectations of the film professionals taking part in the SFC | Rendez-vous Industry.

In addition to benefiting from this program (Panels & Talks to get inspired by the many different visions of today’s Cinema. Workshops and professional meetings to facilitate discussions around co-production, distribution and the release of short films in the market with the decision-makers attending the Festival), films that have seen their registration validated:

  • Are registered in the Market Catalogue and the VideoLibrary to gain visibility and arouse interest from the decision-makers present in Cannes. This Catalogue is available within the whole Festival de Cannes dates, in the VideoLibrary thanks to a private, nominative and secured access, only available for SFC participants and short film industry professionals.
  • Get two SFC | Rendez-vous Industry accreditations to participate in the numerous events of the program. For more info related to SFC | Rendez-vous Industry accreditations consult the dedicated FAQ.
  • Can organize a dedicated market showcase in a Marché du Film screening room. With a capacity between 34 and 53 seats, the rooms are located at the 3rd floor of the Palais des Festivals – pricing available on demand. This market screening is an option. Booked in the context of the SFC | Rendez-vous Industry and the Marché du Film, this market screening doesn’t imply any premiere status in festival and cannot be considered as a screening at the Festival de Cannes.
