Filmmaker Suwa Nobuhiro has gathered cast and crew in his native city, Hiroshima, to direct a re-make of the classic Alain Resnais film “Hiroshima Mon Amour.” French actress Béatrice Dalle, cinematographer Caroline Champetier and writer Kou Machida, an emblem of contemporary Japanese literature, join Suwa in the challenging task of re-interpreting complex emotions linked to a singular time and place in the past.
